Unleash Your Home Workout Potential: Join Rad For a Tour of His Simple But Effective Home Gym.
Are you looking to build your very own home gym that caters to calisthenics, weightlifting, and flexibility training?
In our latest video, dropping Monday 7th May, we will guide you through the essential equipment for creating a versatile and cost-effective home gym as we take you on a tour of Co-founder Rad Burmeister’s set up.
In Rad’s own words, the first two pieces of equipment are the most essential.
Pull-up Bar: The cornerstone of any home gym is a pull-up bar. Choose one that allows you to hang without your feet touching the ground. If you don't have space for a wall-mounted pull-up bar, consider gymnastics rings or doorway pull-up bars.
A pull-up bar is vital for upper body pulling exercises, which are often missing in home workouts, leading to structural imbalances.
Dumbbells: Dumbbells open up numerous exercise options for your shoulders, inner unit, rotator cuff, scapular stabilizers, and auxiliary strength training. They also enable effective lower body training, such as split squats, Romanian deadlifts, and step-ups.
Although high-quality dumbbells can be expensive, there are budget-friendly options available that will serve you well.
